It became more clear today, than every before...Riley is definitely teething! While we were at Gisella's birthday party, Riley could not seem to get enough of her hands. No matter who was holding her, she was content as could be. as long as one hand was in her mouth. Yet, she wasn't sucking, she was gnawing away on her poor little fingers...and drooling...and slobbering! The poor front side of her dress was soaking wet before we chimed in to sing happy birthday!
Fortunately, the parents of the birthday girl helped give us some early advice for the teething stages. So, we are stocked up with teething rings, baby Orajel, and soothies - a new pacifier that resembles more of a bottle top, which Riley just loves...I guess you could say it is very soothing!

Mommy and Daddy also. Of course all this would not be possible without mommy and daddy. A big Thank You to the both of you. It is so magical. It is the next best thing to being there.
I know those little teeth hurt when they are coming in so you keep chewing on the teething rings and let mommy and daddy rub your gums with the gel. It will make it feel all better. I also hope that you enjoyed you very first birthday party that you got to attend.
