St. Nick's Surprise

St. Nick's Day was always a tradition in my family growing up, and we want it to be a part of our Christmas tradition with Riley. St. Nick's Day, celebrated on December 6th, is a day when children hang their stockings for St. Nick to fill with treats for good boys and girls, and lumps of coal, for those whose behavior is less than desirable.

Riley was obviously a very good baby girl in her first four months (although, don't let the size of the stocking fool you...it just looks big in comparison to such a little sweet pea)! She was excited about the stocking and liked it sitting on her lap. The toys were fun to look at and play with, but she got more fun out of the stocking than the stuff inside.

After opening her stocking of goodies, it was time to say good-bye to Grammy. Riley thanked her with hugs, kisses, and lots of Riley Smileys!

This trip to the airport was much smoother than the one last Sunday, when we picked up Grammy...and yes...Riley stole the show once again in her sweet corduroy dress and hat from Aunt Christine!
