Riley has always had an obsession with her hands...so nothing new there, but it is really the thumb that she admires most. She more or less gnaws on it, rather than sucking, and if you pull it out of her mouth and hold her hands to play, she will try very hard to pull your hands into her mouth for a little action. Just fair warning...if nothing is in her mouth...she might just give you one of her infamous new spittles...sticking her tongue out and spitting at the same time! This can be kind of cute, that is unless she is eating at the same time.
This week she is beginning to use her full arm a bit more as well, to sort of swat at things. We were stumped as to where she picked this up at, until JD picked her up from Mrs. Tricia's today. Tucker is the Bradley family lab...more like a horse...as he is huge! When he plays with Riley, he has the tendency to get "up close and personal", so she swings her arm to tell him to back off!
Her giggles, are perhaps, one of our most favorite things!!! Riley is our bit of sunshine on a cold and gray winter day!

Well I am here to tell you that you are one of my "Favorite Things"
You are so cute. Cannot wai to see you. I think that Santa Claus is coming to see you. He sent me a letter asking me is Riley Elizabeth Blagg is going to be at my house, Grammy Allgeier, on Christmas and I quickly responded yes and she has been a very good little girl.
