It was obvious, especially when I would arrive home from work, and Riley would often choose to stay in Aunt Mary's arms versus crawling my way. I think she sees that Aunt Mary looks a lot like me. She will often just look back and forth from at both of us with a very serious look, as if she is thinking..."Are there two of my Mommy?"
It has been great having some extra help during our first week of transition with Daddy out of town. Aunt Mary has had a nice warm, healthy meal on the table every night this week (Thanks Aunt Mary)! Riley has been singing her songs of praise.
Riley has been very good for Aunt Mary, but has also has also shown off a bit of her devious side...getting into everything...even giving some "raspberries" during lunch...showering Aunt Mary with some remnants of the red pepper she was having.
We also think our little Sweet Pea is going through another teething stage this week, as she has been chomping non-stop.
Thank goodness Mary has had her own Riley time, because tonight we picked up Grammy from the airport...which means it's 50/50 time...time to share! I don't think Riley will mind the extra attention one bit!
