7 Months Old!

Over 1/2 way through the first year...and a new tooth breaking through to add to the excitement. We haven't been able to catch a photo yet, but Riley's first tooth has definitely broken through. You can feel the sharp edge of the tooth, as it is pushing up from her bottom gum line. No more chewing on our fingers!

Riley has developed such a fun loving and sweet personality. She is very happy and, for the most part, laid back...like her Daddy. Although she does have some of her Mama's feisty personality in her too!

She has become quite the roly-poly, and enjoys climbing all over during play time. We keep a close eye on her at all times, as we are never sure what she might get into. Curiosity does get the best of our little Sweet Pea. She is very aware of her surroundings and wants to explore everything.

As you can see, the bunny is one of Riley's all time favorite toys. It has the most perfect floppy ears and legs, that she manipulate with ease.

Riley also still enjoys playing in front of the mirror. She has even started to put her arms over her head when we say "sooo big" (but only when in front of the mirror). I'm not sure that she will ever get tired of mirror time, or peek-a-boo. A new favorite is sitting on our shoulders...She really gets to giggling when sitting on my shoulders...we think it's my hair, as she loves to grab fist fulls at a time!

And, as adorable as our sweet baby girl is when sleeping,

naps are definitely not among one of Riley's favorite afternoon activities. She will often put up a good fight, fussing and fidgeting, until finally giving into the zzzzz's. We have tried many of different tricks, but at this point, we are just hoping this is just a phase that she will soon outgrow!
