The Little Gym

Sunday afternoon "The Little Gym" sponsored an open house event, complete with pizza, balloons and open gym time. Riley did very well climbing the big obstacle course. There was a tall mat at the end, which usually she will just try to walk right off of, but over the past week, she has really started to recognize and pay attention to edges. There was no exception here, she knew exactly what to do...roll over on her belly and slide off the mat.

The rings are always a favorite spot to hang out. Riley does very well at reaching for them and holding onto the rings, but if we lower her to hang on without assistance, she will just let go. We gotta work on that upper body strength.

Riley's friend Lauren and her parents, Todd and Courtney also made it to the event.

The girls tried to participate in the big girl activity of turning their scarves into fluttering butterflies.

What a fun time, but there were kids everywhere...mostly older than Riley and Lauren...so it will be good to return on Tuesday morning where it is just our small group with kiddos in the same age range!
