With so much excitement, Riley didn't want to miss a beat, but we did manage to convince her to take a couple of short naps. Naps always bring out the best in our little sweet pea.
The weather was a balmy 80 degrees today, but overcast with some sprinkles. So, we hibernated inside all day. Riley and JD played while I cooked a nice dinner for the three of us...okay, so Riley had the usual, but JD and I did savor all of our traditional favorites.

We are absolutely tickled at how Riley's personality develops with each passing day. She has even become more independent and has learned to entertain herself when we are trying to juggle multiple things at once. We think it's her voice that mostly keeps her entertained, and knowing just how to grab our attention with her little "fake" whimpers.

Happy Thanksgiving to all three of you. Riley sweetheart, you look like you are really enjoying your first Thanksgiving. Love Nana
It is great to see how much Riley is growing. And it was just a matter of time before she figured out how to talk. Now she will never stop. Glad all 3 had a good Thanksgiving and that we are able to share with you through the blog. Looking forward to seeing all 3 at Christmas. Give all a kiss.
I hope you had a wonderful first Thanksgiving Riley! It looks like you did. I think you were trying to sneak some stuffing in those sweet cheeks of yours! Are you ready for Grammy's visit Sunday? Grammy will see you then and Aunt Christine will see you in a few weeks.
Love,
Aunt Christine and Grammy/MOM
