A Day Out With Thomas

Sunday was a hot, humid day with a chance for storms, but luckily we were able to enjoy a day out with Thomas before the rain hit Chattanooga. Although Riley doesn't really know who Thomas the Engine is, she does know about trains and likes to say choo-choo while tugging up and down with her arm. So, we thought we would check out the festivities held at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Association.

There were lots of activities on the grounds to experience before our train ride, and Riley's favorite was the giant slide. I think she could have done this all day long...so this might be something we need to consider renting for her 2nd birthday party.

Before departing the train station, Riley was fascinated by an incoming train passing by.

I am sure we'll experience the fun again in the future, but with two kiddos in tow!
