2 weeks

Still a bit sleep deprived, but we are well on our way to getting into the routine of have two children ruling our roost here in Chattanooga.

Riley has definitely adjusted well to having a little brother in the house, and has not yet asked for us to send him back to Mommy's belly - thank goodness. She is actually more loving than ever, constantly giving away hugs and kisses, but more to Zachary than anyone else.
She has also taken to loving the camera these days and actually smiling for photos, yet on her terms and conditions...which usually includes the opportunity to view the photo immediately after it is taken.
Zachary is still sleeping most of each day and night and growing by leaps and bounds already.
He had to go back to the doctor this week for a weight check, since he lost a few ounces the first week. In one week, he gained 13 oz.! This is really amazing considering how much he spits up after each feeding.

As parents of two, it is sometimes hard to remember not to compare the two. Although Zach and Riley look a lot alike, they both have their own tendencies which are not the same in any way. Riley wouldn't sleep unless she was swaddled...Zach will not sleep if swaddled, and prefers to be just loosely covered. Riley would not take to a pacifier ever...Zach loves his from time-to-time. Riley would wake up at the slightest sound...Zach sleeps through just about anything (of course, he doesn't know any different with his energetic sister around). I wonder what other similarities and differences we will discover!
