Lately playtime has taken on a whole new meaning, for Zach is giving Riley a run for her money. He is reaching and starting to find a way to move inches at a time to go after what he wants...even if it does mean toys that Riley is playing with. Riley...she is not so fond of this new "behavior".
She is definitely in the "mine" stage of a 2 year old and has regressed completely to wanting all the baby toys that have been passed down to Zach. It really is fun to watch the two of them interact together. Zach absolutely loves his big sis and will smile and giggle when she plays with him. Of course, he also smiles and giggles, even when she is in trouble and throwing a fit...it is quite humorous to JD and I.
Despite Riley's 2 year old possessive behavior, she is so darn cute and sweet more than not! Right now she is obsessed with building with her blocks...especially building towers for Thomas.
Of course, singing, dancing, playing with her babies, and learning her letters/numbers is a huge hit too! The girl loves repetition.
Stay tuned in...for our little man will be on the move sooner than we think. He loves when we tuck his knees in the crawling position...and can almost get into this position on his own, only to flop after a second or two.
Uh oh...I'm not sure that we are ready for this yet!
