Zachary Dean - at 7 months, has had many a firsts to remember.
For starters...no more blocked tear duct...Yeah!!! Just a few days ago...just like that...gone...no more warm wash cloth rubbing my baby's eye a dozen or more times a day. I am so very thankful!
Finally, finally, after many fussy nights and days filled with gnawing on hands, fingers, and toys, Zach has his first tooth (lower, left front). Of course, we thought for sure we would see a whole mouthful by now, but perhaps the next will come in with greater ease.
Another first for our little man...frigid temps with a sprinkling of snow.
So the snow didn't amount to anything, but schools still closed. Zach had the pleasure of spending one day with Riley at home, since daycare was closed. Needless to say, he missed out on hours of nap time, as he is totally into his sister...watching her non-stop.
Another first...no, Zach is not crawling yet, but he is oh, so close. He will now get up on his knees, rocks back and forth, even scoots both knees forward. He has such determination. Watch our Ry!
Zach at 7 months you:
- Are still the smiliest baby ever!
- Are seriously ticklish and will even make yourself giggle.
- Love to play peek-a-boo and tug-o-war.
- Can chow!!! You love all fruits and veggies (except not so crazy about squash).
- Hate lying on your back (and Mommy and Daddy have not quite figured out how to change your diaper while you are sitting or standing)...you get so fired up when we have to lie you down for anything. Usually you will roll to your tummy to play, but you never, ever, roll onto your back.
- Can sit up and prefer to sit up to play.
- Are so strong and can stand while holding onto the ottoman, but will still unexpectedly let go and fall to the ground.
- Are finally sleeping through the night again...thank you!
- Love all of your toys, especially ones that make noises or rattle.
- Love to splash around in the bath tub.
- Love your sister more than anything!
