Last weekend we fired up the pit for our first marshmallow roast (despite the project still awaiting final stones around the pit...long story). The weather was cool, perhaps a bit too windy, but we just couldn't resist.
Riley devoured many perfectly toasted marshmallows, compliments of her Daddy. He, of course, had to eat all of the ones that he charred.
This is exactly what we hoped for when we decided to build our patio...many evenings spring, summer, and fall, spent outdoors for dinner, playing, or keeping warm by the fire. Can't wait for some company to come and enjoy with us.
