Our goal each morning is to be out the door as close to 7:00 a.m. as possible, with clean clothes (including me) and smiles on all faces. The first week, we scored an A+. Although, not every morning was tear free for Mommy, I successfully made it to work on time every day.

Right now, we have both Riley and Zachary enrolled at Ridgedale CDC, which we love for Riley, but could live without for our sweet baby Zach. To minimize the time in the daycare setting, we have hired a part-time nanny to help in the afternoons. Miss Ashley helps by picking up the kids from daycare at 2:30 every day, then bringing them back to our home for more one-on-one time while awaiting for us to arrive home from work. We love that Zach's time in a daycare setting is kept as short as possible, while still providing Riley enough time for structured learning and social time that we feel is very important for her age.

After work, we enjoy dinner as a family and some play time, before getting the kids ready for bedtime. The evenings go way to fast, but we make the most of our time and enjoy every minute. I do pray that the routine does get a bit easier, at least from an emotional standpoint. I miss my kids dearly while working and always look forward to weekends to recoup!
