Life is Good

Life has been good for the three of us over the past couple of weeks. We love that Daddy has been home...it makes everything better!

He even came to the rescue tonight and ran out while I was giving our little Love Bug a bath to get a special treat for his girls...Caramel deLight ice cream...YUM-O!

Riley needed more than the rest of us, as she has been down and out with a low grade temp since early afternoon. We should've known something was brewing when she fell asleep instantly after JD put her in her crib Sunday night, but this morning, she had an appetite and seemed energized...she even blew me a kiss good-bye at daycare (without tears and without being in one of her teachers arms).

Perhaps I should've caught on to the 2nd sign...with some coaxing from me when I picked her up at daycare...she actually ate most of the school lunch (jello w/fruit, hamburger and tater tots - both with ketchup). It wasn't until we got home and I was vacuuming that Riley showed signs of not feeling up to par. She napped off and on most of the day, only wanting to be held. Tylenol helped break the fever for a few hours at a time, but it turned out to be another early evening for our Love Bug, and again, she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Hopefully tomorrow...Life will be good again for Riley and she will be feeling better.

Life is Good...isn't it? Especially if you are an adorable 15 month old Sweet Pea! Thanks for Skyping last night...sorry it was so short, but I had 4 hungry friends coming over for dinner! Aunty Christine would love to bake some cookies or a yummy cake with you sometime...can't wait! Hope you all are doing well!
