Tonight is the last night before returning to the routine of school and Riley's heart was set on a slumber party in the living room...she wanted to be close to the big windows, for again, there is a chance for some snow, and she wants to be able to wake up and see it right away. I love her big ideas and big enthusiasm for the simple pleasures. BTW...it is almost 9:30 p.m. and Zachary is sound asleep with his adorable snore underway, but Riley is still awake waiting for the big snow.
By golly...if there is no snow tonight or tomorrow, then we may just have to take a road trip next weekend to Gatlinburg or somewhere nearby to find some snow for her to play.
