Rainy Sunday

The soggy, rainy weather, kept us inside most of the weekend, but today we wanted to avoid cabin fever. Since we didn't get to take Zach to the aquarium over the holidays, we figured today was the perfect opportunity. It dawned on us that we hadn't taken him since, okay, we can't quite remember when...which means it has been way too long!

Needless to say we all had a great time, but Zach was in awe.

He could have stayed all day to play with the stingray...and the stingray were quite active today. Several were surfacing, almost jumping out of the water. Zach loved it!

A favorite stop of Riley's...the crab tank. It didn't take Z long to warm up to the idea of crawling into the cozy cubbie to hang out with his big sis!

Although we only made it through the ocean journey, as we were all hungry for lunch, it was a stop that we will be making more often, especially since we just renewed our membership.

Zach must have exerted a ton of energy on the walk through the aquarium, for after a quick bite to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, he fell fast asleep on JD's lap, while the rest of us finished our lunch.
