Love, love, love our two sweetie pies (and I couldn't resist their matchy outfits)! Can you believe Zach actually wore his little tie all day long??

The egg hunt was a blast. Zach and Riley could have hunted for the same eggs over and over and over again. I love the smiles and squeals of joy when they would discover each and every egg. Each find was more exciting than the last.
Of course Z found the treats inside the eggs quite intriguing. So much that he would try eating the treat right through the paper. Believe it or not, he popped the little goodness of a bite size Milky Way right in his mouth (of all things...considering he has hardly eaten in a week). Notice how is little cheek is puffed to the max...and the dribble of chocolate running down his white shirt.
Aunt Amy has some beautiful dogwood trees in her big yard. Perfect spot for a pic with 3 generations of Blagg's.
Riley and Zachary were glad to spend time with their Nana.
The Easter Bunny had delivered an extra special treat for Abby and Kenzie...a baby chick. Both Riley and Z both were fascinated with the little fuzzy creature.

All of the kids had a blast decorating the yummy sugar cookies that Riley helped me roll out and bake the night before. It was the perfect end to a perfect Easter Eve day.

Thanks Aunt Amy and Uncle Mike for a fabulous afternoon.
Easter Sunday, we headed back home early, for Zach was feeling under the weather. We had planned a stop in Nashville to possibly visit with the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shops, however, after touring a few boats, we heard Z's message loud and clear, which was to get home as fast as possible. (Poor guy had a horrible stomach bug!)
After a bit of rest along the way, Zach and Riley were both ready to break free from the confines of the "man van" and dive into Easter that was left from not only the Easter Bunny, but the Grammy and Aunt Mary Bunnies too. (The Magic Wand story has been the biggest hit ever for both Ry and Z, and Riley absolutely adores her Tinker Bell dress. Thank you!)
Riley and Zachary were as excited as ever about the egg and basket hunt.
Zachary landed eyes on his basket of goodies right away, but seemed a bit confused on why the basket was filled with goodies instead of being empty for his egg collection. It didn't take him long to fix that "problem".
Riley on the other hand, filled her basket of eggs before realizing she also had a basket of loot from the infamous Bunny hiding on the play set.

JD and I are truly blessed and hope your Easter holiday was just as special as ours!
